Let me introduce you to HelloFax, a free online fax service. I don’t know how it’s about you, but to me a fax is this machine my father used in business, before the Internet was popular. I used it when I was 12, to send messages to my classmates who also had a fax. It was fun when I was twelve years old, but nowadays I think it is one of the most unnecessary pieces of technology out there. Nonetheless you have to send a fax every once in a while and for me it was always a major PITB, until now.
HelloFax is a free online Fax service for casual use. This means you can send up to 5 faxes per month for free, no contract, no obligation and they support faxing to more than 70 countries. Sending a fax is super easy: You simply upload your document, enter the phone number and click Send. You can also grab your files directly from Google Drive, or Dropbox amongst other cloud based services!
One of the nicest features with HelloFax is the option to sign a document online. No more printing and scanning, to cancel the phone contract. I haven’t tried this feature yet, but it sure sounds good…
If you run a small business, they also have additional plans available for purchase that include fax receiving, team faxing and of course sending more faxes per month.
If you are interested in the service, please sign up using this link and we both get 5 extra faxes (which will probably last me for the next two years…)
A Fax might be traditional business and I’m grateful to only see it rarely in offices nowadays. However, not all things were bad in the offices back then I suppose…
